9. A calm mindset is a sign of maturity. The words once spoken without restraint and actions taken without consequence are eventually pressed deep into the heart as one grows. As we mature and become more understanding, life becomes more complex. The more we dwell on trifles, the more trouble we invite.
10. Once, "holding your hand and promising forever" was merely a passing smoke; once, "living or dying together" was an unfulfilled dream. Deep in the mortal world, I came to fulfill a destiny, only to find my heart scarred upon leaving. In the three realms, whom do you seek to save, as tears fall for a fate misread on the Three-Life Stone?
11. Solitude is a vital human experience. Only in solitude can one encounter their own soul, and through that, connect with the Divine, the mysterious, and the infinite enigmas of the universe.
12. Do not blame others for disappointing you; blame yourself for having too many expectations.
13. We often use various excuses to mask our wounds and vulnerabilities, attempting to appear composed and carefree. In reality, the people and events we cannot bear to forget remain etched in our hearts; we alone know the warmth and coldness they bring.
14. God created humanity, allowing boys and girls to mature and flourish around the same age, understanding and delighting in one another. Yet, there are differences: boys are drawn to a girl's innocence and beauty, while girls are drawn to a boy's freedom and wisdom.
15. Spiritual realms and pursuits may seem abstract, but they often have concrete directions. As Laozi said: "Five colors blind the eye; five tones deafen the ear; five flavors dull the palate; hunting and riding drive the heart mad; and hard-to-get goods hinder conduct."
16. Since we parted, I have learned the taste of longing—both sweet and bitter. When I miss you, my soul pours out in my dreams, searching for your shadow in every corner you once touched. You appear like a drifting firefly, shining in the darkness where my gaze meets.
17. Time flows ceaselessly, and happiness often flickers by unexpectedly. These moments of happiness may seem fleeting, but they are lasting because they become etched in the heart, providing warmth and guidance for us to discover and cherish happiness.
18. In this life, many things are indeed important, such as our values and honor. However, many things that threaten our peace and joy are actually not as important as we think. Jealousy is ignorance, and imitation is suicide. Whether in fortune or misfortune, one must remain self-mastered. The potential within a person is infinite; one cannot know what they are capable of without attempting it.
