The most painful aspect of life is that we are given limited abilities but unlimited desires. When desires are unfulfilled, we suffer; when they are fulfilled, we often feel bored. The most helpless part of life is that despite this, we continually oscillate between pain and boredom until life ends, with few able to fully escape.
Life has its ups and downs, and falling into a low point is inevitable. Only those with a broad perspective can remain unburdened and truly free. If life gives you a lemon, make lemonade.
