No one is eternally slandered, nor is anyone eternally praised. When you speak much, you are criticized; when you speak little, you are criticized; and even in silence, you are criticized. In this world, no one escapes criticism. Do not trouble yourself with the doubts of others, nor suffer because of their ignorance. Walk your own path, and let others say what they will.
Mood is an emotional state. Having a good mood brings confidence, youth, and health. It also brings an anticipation and hope for the future. Let us maintain a positive mood, for living itself is a blessing and a joy.
Although life lasts only a few decades, it is not a fleeting dream. By pursuing truth, one attains immortality. Life is not a burning candle, but a torch to be held high; we must make it burn bright and passionate, passing it on to the next generation.
The Book of Rites (Liji) states: After the age of seventy, one's nature becomes like that of a child, requiring care and comfort. The elderly also fear loneliness. Therefore, being close to your parents' hearts, caring for them regularly, alleviating their worries, and bringing them joy is an excellent way to practice filial piety.
Some things, if let go lightly, will bring lightness. Some small matters become big when overthought. Some details become tragedies when weighed too heavily. Ultimately, much of it is merely illusion. When people weigh others down, hearts become heavy. One should learn to relax.
