With gradual changes and increasing public recognition, the relationship between Sister Furong and her son has become increasingly close. At school, her son often hears classmates mention that their parents are also fans of his mother and ask him for autographs, which makes him feel very proud. Whenever he is wronged or bullied in kindergarten, he no longer feels afraid. Instead, he proudly says, “If you keep bullying me, I will tell my mom—my mom is Sister Furong!”
On Mother’s Day, she returned home early, planning to spend the day with her son. However, when she arrived, she did not see him. Just as she was about to go out to look for him, her son came back holding a purple carnation. He said earnestly, “Mom, you’ve worked so hard. When I grow up, I will not let you work so tirelessly for me anymore. I will study hard, support you when I grow up, and let you live an easier life.” Then he happily lifted the flower above his head and said innocently, “Mom, happy Mother’s Day!” The child’s thoughtfulness and filial love moved her to tears, and in that moment, all the hardships and grievances of the past years turned into immense comfort.
In order to provide her son with a more normal environment for growth, she had spent years quietly enduring and making sacrifices, even drastically changing her lifestyle and stepping away from the internet. She worked hard to lose weight and adjust her public image, all for her child’s future. When she finally emerged from the low point in her life and regained both her career and family affection, she realized that all the sacrifices had been worthwhile.
