Hello! My name is Wei Dan, a student majoring in Medical Imaging at Chengde Medical University.
I come from an ordinary rural family in Xushui County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. Due to their advancing age and years of hard labor, my parents' health has gradually declined. At present, they mainly rely on farming to support the family. Since both my sister and I are attending university, the cost of education places a significant financial burden on our household. My brother works as a temporary police officer, and his limited income is only enough to cover his own basic expenses, sometimes requiring support from the family as well. Although my parents rarely speak about the hardships they face, we deeply understand the sacrifices and efforts they have made for our family.
In the past, my father could take on manual labor jobs away from home to supplement the family's income. However, with increasing age and declining health, such physically demanding work is no longer feasible. Even farming has become more challenging than before. Though my parents are reluctant to admit they are growing old, the reality of their physical condition is undeniable. Therefore, I have always hoped to ease their burden through my own hard work and achievements.
In September 20xx, I was admitted to the Medical Imaging program at Chengde Medical University. For many years, I have dreamed of becoming an outstanding medical professional who can help relieve patients' suffering and contribute to society. Motivated by this aspiration, I have continuously worked hard, pursued excellence, and taken an important step toward realizing my dream.
After entering university, I became even more certain about my goals. To achieve my long-held ambitions, I have maintained a diligent and dedicated attitude toward learning. While enjoying the diverse experiences of university life, I have consistently expanded my professional knowledge and strengthened my overall abilities. I understand that a future healthcare professional must possess not only solid theoretical knowledge and practical skills but also strong professional ethics and a sense of responsibility. Therefore, I continuously challenge myself to learn, broaden my horizons, and improve my capabilities.
In addition to acquiring medical knowledge, I place great importance on developing my personal qualities and moral character. I actively participate in various school activities and strive for balanced development in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and practical aspects. Although I recognize that I still have much room for improvement, I always hold myself to higher standards and remain committed to continuous growth and hard work.
