A faint sorrow weaves through many threads; a faint longing is long and deep; a faint attachment is distant and eternal. In the faint loneliness, one tastes the helplessness of life; amidst the faint dust and years, one gently appreciates the scenery of the journey, enjoys what one possesses, and calmly meets life's storms. By treating everything with a sense of lightness, everything naturally becomes peaceful. Because of this lightness, I find happiness.
No matter how wealthy or capable you are, never look down on anyone, for there are always those stronger than you. Do not be complacent about your current achievements, as society is constantly advancing. Those who seem wealthy now may not remain so, and those who seem poor may not stay that way forever. The world changes, and we change, but regardless of the shifts, hope you never look down on others.
In conversation, if you can find common ground with others, they will naturally take an interest and develop a liking for you. Everyone values those who affirm their opinions, as it boosts their self-esteem. If you must disagree, try to find aspects you can agree with to keep the dialogue open.
The active are healthy, the thinkers are wise, the helpers are joyful, the readers are learned, the travelers are delighted, and the seekers are successful. Study earnestly, think quietly, act steadily, work diligently, live simply, make friends sincerely, walk leisurely, and live with integrity.
Do not rush into love, thinking you can outlast eternity, for sweetness fades too quickly and time stops too soon. Do not rush into hate, thinking it can destroy everything, for you will end up living too exhausted, burdened by regret. In this vast existence, awaken your ideals and learn to live slowly. Within your heart, you are a child—one who gives without hesitation and is hurt without defense; therefore, you should also recover without hesitation.
Step back when encountering difficulties, and yield a step to others. Keep your ego in check and your temper low; remember that there is always someone better. The wise observe and listen; the foolish are self-centered. None of us are saints; simply let your talents flourish, use diligence to compensate for shortcomings, watch the rise and fall of prosperity with a smile, and simply be happy.
