Unexpected happiness is like sunlight suddenly piercing through dark clouds, carrying a brilliant luster; it is also like a fragrant plant, tranquil and unpretentious, without any forced intensity. Even when you feel as though happiness has slipped away, you can still appreciate its preciousness in that very moment.
Remember: Not every stream can reach the ocean; those that cease to flow become stagnant lakes. Not every seed can grow into a tree; those that fail to grow become empty shells. Life is not a constant of joy or pain; they are inherently intertwined.
I have grown accustomed to waiting, so in the cycle of life, I find myself uncontrollably returning to the starting point of waiting. I do not know how much longer I must wait for an answer, or how much longer I can persist for a result. Longing feels powerless because its outcome remains unseen.
To find joy, be easygoing; to find happiness, follow fate. Joy is the pleasure of the heart, while happiness is the contentment of the soul. Do not quarrel with others, with yourself, or with destiny. With a heart free of calculation, joy remains; after giving your all, embrace life as it comes and find contentment in what you have.
To follow fate is to have a clear and correct understanding of reality, and to achieve spiritual freedom after attaining life's wisdom. It is the equanimity of "meetings and partings are predestined," the transcendence of "celebrating gain and accepting loss," and the composure of "weathering life's storms with grace."
If you continue to rely on conventional thinking and stick to old patterns, you are destined to fall behind, lacking any advantage, and opportunities will pass you by. Therefore, to stand out, one must possess the power of innovation: dare to think what others won't and do what others haven't. True simplicity is not merely having few possessions, but having a heart that can embrace vast experience while remaining pure.
Bystanders will never make it onto the scoreboard.
Those who avoid reality will face an even bleaker future.
If you only wish to be an employee, when the whistle blows at the end of the shift, you can temporarily forget your work; but if you wish to forge your own path and build a career, the whistle is merely the signal for you to begin thinking.
