In life, what makes you strong is not persistence, but letting go; what makes you tranquil is not gaining, but losing; what allows you to rise is not the shoulders of others, but your inner knowledge; what allows you to stand firm is not lowly survival, but unyielding struggle; what allows you to be reborn is not waiting for things to end, but bravely saying goodbye to them; and what you pursue throughout your life is not a distant goal, but an unwavering belief.
What diminishes one's blessings most? It is the obstacle of envy. Feeling resentful when others do good, rather than rejoicing in their success, prevents the accumulation of merit. Once envy is replaced by appreciation, blessings will follow. Pursuing goals is a state of being, challenging limits is a joy, and overcoming hardships with a smile is happiness. Often, whether we feel exhausted or not depends not on the event itself, but on our mindset. We find that doing what we love makes even hard work a form of enjoyment.
If light were one's first love, wouldn't love be the radiance of the soul? They say five hundred glances in a past life can lead to a meeting in this one; I would give everything just to meet you in this lifetime.
May you be like a carefree child under the sun, and a mature, responsible adult in the storm.
A kind thought is a seed; once planted, it will bear abundant fruit.
Do not always envy the lives of others. We often see only their moments of triumph, while their moments of despair are much like our own.
