To live the life you want, you must be brave enough to give up certain things. The world is not perfectly fair, nor can you have everything at once. If you want freedom, you must sacrifice some security; if you want ease, you cannot always gain recognition from others; if you want happiness, you should not care too much about others' opinions; if you want to move forward, you must leave where you currently stand.
Different people make different choices in life. Some value long-term goals, others focus on the present; some pursue happiness, others seek security; some prefer abstract ideas, others prefer practical reality; some enjoy novelty, others prefer stability; some care about appearance, others about substance; some are proactive, others cautious. These differences shape diverse life paths.
Life is neither too long nor too short; what matters is how we perform in our own story. With continuous effort, even a supporting role can eventually become the lead. In a competitive and realistic society, elimination and survival of the fittest are everywhere. Without effort and growth, one may be replaced at any time.
Simplicity is inner calm and composure, without excessive demands on life. Life includes success and failure, gathering and separation; no one can have everything perfectly. You cannot have both fish and bear’s paw. A mature person accepts imperfection calmly, does not force outcomes, and does their best while letting things unfold naturally. Pursuing perfection is an ideal; accepting imperfection is wisdom.
Do not lament that you are not strong, because strength is not innate. When you learn to overcome yourself, you already possess the mindset of a strong person.
In a sense, everyone has the opportunity to encounter luck; the key lies in whether you can seize it and make full use of it.
