The greatest pain in life lies in the struggle between "wanting to possess" and "fearing loss." Life is like a game, possessing both colorful facets and grey backgrounds; those who cannot adapt to the rules will eventually be eliminated. On this long journey of life, no one is perfect. It is as if God allows tiny humans to chase after things on a spinning wheel, only to scatter steel balls that cause us to lose our way and pause.
One can be an atheist, without needing to understand the existence or purpose of God, yet one must realize that humans do not merely live in nature, but exist within history. History is the determination of explanations for the mystery of death across generations and the exploration of how to overcome it. For this purpose, humanity discovered mathematical infinity and electromagnetic waves, and composed symphonies. Without passion, one cannot move forward; to make discoveries, one must be spiritually prepared.
Learning to live alone is an essential skill; do not rely too heavily on others. This is to ensure that when people leave your side, you can still live well. No one is indispensable; being unable to live without someone now does not mean you will be unable to live without them forever.
Inspiration is not found far away, but within a fulfilling life. The calling of scientists is to continue striving to reveal the mysteries of nature, mastering them to benefit humanity in the future. Similarly, the meaning of life lies in the continuous renewal of our understanding, using an open heart to observe the blooming and fading of the world, infusing life with resilience. As time passes, we should live with new insights and a sense of inner peace. Following the flow of the past, we come into this world to experience a sense of composure.
If fate has decreed that our meeting must lead to separation, then I hope our meeting will be eternal, even if only for a second, and I will cherish it deeply. Because meeting you has changed my life profoundly.
