Life can be hurried but not rushed. Hurrying is scenery; rushing ruins the mood. Hurrying is a journey through mountains and rivers, spanning thousands of miles; rushing is a sudden storm of wind and rain. An elegant life is nourished by a calm heart, a peaceful mindset, and a simple way of living, bringing forth composure and serenity. Some things require the patience of time, and some goals require sincere patience; none of them can be rushed.

The length of life's channel is limited. To transport more water, increasing width is not enough; one must also increase depth and strengthen the density of the bottom and surroundings.

A disciple asked a Zen master, "Master, how can I control my emotions and not get angry when things happen?" The master replied, "If you believe deeply in karma, you will not be confused. All grievances are caused by karma; without confusion, there is no anger. Getting angry is like drinking poison and expecting others to suffer."

A wise friend will not make their friend choose between them and interests, but will strive to create mutual benefits. Only foolish people test others' character, leading to mutual destruction.

Although a rat can struggle if it falls into the ocean, it can never be called a sailor.

Associating with good people will inevitably bring good influence; associating with evil people will inevitably bring evil influence. Just as wind passing through fragrance leaves a scent, and wind passing through something foul leaves a stench.

If you cherish one another, do not drift apart. There are very few people in this world who truly care for you. Many walk into our lives in the vast sea of people, but few walk into our hearts. Among the multitude of beings, many accompany us for a journey, but only a few stay for a lifetime.
