Everyone may encounter happiness or meet pain unexpectedly. We can tuck away the passing years, whether through joy or sorrow, and quietly store the vicissitudes of life, whether deep or shallow. Sometimes, the obstacles in life are not necessarily bad things, as they allow us to appreciate the scenery along the way. Through many people and events, the heart becomes stronger; by crossing many hurdles, the mind becomes more open. Learn to walk lightly, learn to let go of burdens, understand deeply, and fly quietly.
Some elderly people, despite their wrinkles, bring warmth and approachability through their smiles. Some children, despite their young age, bring infinite warmth and happiness through their smiles. Therefore, learn to smile; it is the source of our happiness. Smiling costs very little but yields great results. Let us smile more.
Even if you have been kind to others, do not expect praise or rewards; even if fate is unkind, do not extinguish the lamp of hope; even if you are wronged, do not be petty or dwell on it; even if you achieve some success, do not become complacent or self-indulgent; even if you face injustice, do not let it dampen your spirit.
