As the ancient saying goes, "At thirty, one stands firm." As an adult, one should have a stable home, regular habits, and a focused career, so that parents may finally find peace of mind. Confucius once said, "If one does not learn in youth, one will be incompetent in old age." As children, we should strive for self-improvement when young, rather than wasting our lives in idleness. Life is never without hardship, and the journey is never without exhaustion. If one is unwilling to endure hardship, how can one change their destiny? If one refuses to toil, how can one brighten their future?
To gain the power to shape one's destiny, one must first possess a strong desire, and let that desire constantly urge and motivate oneself to move towards the goal with persistence. Setbacks are merely the tuition one must pay on the road to success.
I demand of myself unyielding and continuous action to achieve my goals. I vow not to stop until the objective is met.
Remember, "overnight success" often requires long-term tempering.
What is failure? Failure is nothing more than a step closer to success. And what is success? Success is when you have walked all the paths leading to failure, and only one road remains: the road to success.
