Zen Master Xiujing replied, "When it rains from the sky, it does not choose which tree to nourish; both lush and withered trees receive the rain."
Emotions can wound, and people can be hurt. Emotions are intertwined, and hearts resonate. Every emotion is a connection of souls, and every tear carries feeling. Regardless of gender, what we crave is true affection and what we expect is sincerity. When moved by emotion, women feel deeply, and men may weep; when hurt, children may show anger, and adults may shed tears. Emotions cannot be faked, and hearts cannot be easily mended. To everyone and everything, one should be sincere and act with a true heart. Harming others inevitably harms oneself, and hurting feelings inevitably wounds the soul. Honesty and kindness are always beautiful virtues. Throughout this life, we encounter many people and many emotions; some bring joy, while others bring sorrow.
Time flies, vanishing like smoke. Looking back through the crevices of the years, the initial emotions and expectations have faded. In the hustle and bustle of life, we focus so much on the journey that we inadvertently miss the scenery, unable to freeze the most beautiful moments. Once prosperity fades, life returns to simplicity. On the stage of life, we perform to our heart's content—with surprises, with sorrow, or with joy. Every moment of brilliance and every harvest is a gift from life. Always believe that beauty is on its way.
