Two tour groups from Taiwan were traveling on Japan's Izu Peninsula. The road conditions were terrible, filled with potholes everywhere. One guide kept apologizing to the tourists, describing the road surface as looking like "pockmarked skin." In contrast, another guide poetically said to the visitors, "Ladies and gentlemen, the path we are traveling on right now is none other than the famous 'Izu Charming Dimple Avenue'."
(Note: Faced with the same situation, different thoughts lead to vastly different attitudes. Thought is a wondrous thing; how you choose to perceive the world is entirely up to you.)
