Life is about perseverance and winning through persistence. There is no absolute distinction between good and bad circumstances; fortune and misfortune are intertwined. The clarity and wisdom of one's true nature are the source of all thoughts. As years pass, the world remains unpredictable; life is like the moon, waxing and waning. In life, one inevitably encounters good and evil, conflict and emotion, success and failure, and honor and disgrace. We should neither escape nor force things, letting everything follow its natural course. Face ups and downs with composure and a tranquil heart. Return to yourself to find your true essence. In the midst of a busy life, take a moment to wonder: Who am I? Where do I come from? Where am I going? Do not just run blindly and forget where you started.
When darkness surrounds you, use the lamp of faith to light your way; when thorns block your path, use the blade of ideals to clear them; when storms rage, use the umbrella of strength to hold up a clear sky.
A single drop of water is tiny; if kept in your palm, it will soon evaporate. But if it joins the ocean, it surges with the mighty waves. The paths of thought we choose are merely ways of behaving, intended to cultivate vast wisdom within. One should have the aspiration of a stream flowing toward the sea and the wisdom of a drop merging with the ocean. To the wise, the small becomes vast; to the foolish, the vast seems small.
