Another week has passed. This week, I noticed a significant improvement in class discipline; it is no longer as noisy as before. As subjects enter their core learning stages, the pace of study is also accelerating.
During this week, I encountered some difficulties in Mathematics. While I understood certain concepts, I struggled to apply them when facing specific problems. Fortunately, through discussions with Nie Zhaowen, the class monitor, and Qiu Songfa, I was able to resolve these issues and fill the gaps in my knowledge.
During this period of high school, I have felt an immense sense of ease. Looking back at my middle school days, the first thing I had to do every day after returning home was to tackle heavy assignments, which often left me feeling frustrated and overwhelmed, sometimes leading to careless work just to get it done.
Life in high school is quite different. The daily homework load is relatively manageable, allowing me to spend some time reading and enjoying a restful sleep after returning home. It feels wonderful.
Even though there is less extracurricular homework in high school, I will not let myself become complacent. I make the most of my evening self-study sessions to consolidate the key points taught by teachers. Whenever I encounter something I don't understand, I consult my textbooks, ask my classmates, or seek guidance from my teachers after class to ensure a solid understanding.
I hope my future high school life will be even more fulfilling and joyful.
