Greed is true poverty; contentment is true wealth.
Do not waste your life on things you will inevitably regret.
Every ordinary person needs a Zen-like heart.
Filial piety is the foundation of all virtues. Without it, kindness is but a hollow structure, illusory and superficial. Filial piety is a fleeting grace and a happiness that cannot be reclaimed; once missed, it becomes a lifelong regret. Do not let your filial piety come too late, and never leave behind the sorrow of "wanting to care for parents but they are no longer there."
To "let go" means to release distinctions, notions of right and wrong, gains and losses, and attachments. Everything is meant to be used, not possessed. We must cast aside all attachments, remain detached from fame and wealth, find clarity within, and let go of greed, anger, and ignorance. Do not despair in the face of life's suffering, nor cling too tightly to its pleasures.
Many things can only be seen clearly when viewed from a distance.
Sometimes we feel exhausted and forced to smile through life's struggles. But once we change our perspective, fame and fortune pass like clouds, while true friends remain precious. Organize your state of mind, and remember that a smile is always free.
A noble heart need not be magnificent, but it must be resilient.
