Everyone's life is different. Some lives are complete, while others have regrets; some are full, while others have emptiness. These are things we cannot choose, but we can choose our perspective on life and face its imperfections with a joyful and grateful heart.
Do not be overly certain about your own opinions. Leaving room for different possibilities can help you avoid unnecessary regrets.
If you insist on making simple things seem overly serious, you will only bring more pain to yourself.
One lie often requires many more lies to cover it up. Why put yourself through that?
With smoke and rain, we describe our lives; without smoke or rain, we observe life itself. We often unknowingly portray life as a misty and uncertain scene. In reality, fog is not fog, flowers are not flowers, smoke is not smoke, and rain is not rain. Everything is merely the complexity within our hearts, making the world appear unclear. Life itself is pure and honest. When the dust within our hearts settles, we see a world of blue skies and clear seas, green mountains and flowing waters. The world remains the same world.
After experiencing the passage of time, whether we are happy or not depends only on our hearts. The ups and downs are what make up a lifetime. From childhood to adulthood, from building a family to having children and grandchildren, the journey may be filled with hardships. When we grow old and look back on our past, even if those memories have become blurred, incomplete, and broken, we will still smile as we remember the courage we once had in our youth.
As the years pass, we suddenly realize that our desires have gradually become fewer. We no longer please others against our true feelings, no longer deliberately flatter or accommodate others, no longer beg for approval, and no longer need to compromise ourselves. Time may make us older, but it also enriches our hearts. It is time to return to our true selves, live and act according to our own values, stop constantly prioritizing others, stop suppressing our sincerity, and stop forcing ourselves to endure.
