Hello! My name is Yan Momo, a sophomore majoring in Public Management, Class of 2012, at Chaohu University. In 20xx, I entered the university with confidence and hope, embarking on my college journey. Over the past year, I have maintained a positive attitude and held myself to high standards, striving for all-round development. Under the guidance of my teachers and the support of my peers, I have achieved gratifying results in both my studies and campus activities, steadily moving toward my goals. Upon learning about the application for the National Inspirational Scholarship, I have decided to submit this application after careful consideration of my qualifications. The following is a report of my achievements over the past year for your review.
Family Background
I was born into a rural family where my parents work as farmers. Due to years of strenuous manual labor, they suffer from neck and lumbar spondylosis, which requires long-term medication to manage the pain. Faced with these family challenges, I have never faltered; instead, I am determined to repay my parents' hard work through my academic excellence and practical achievements, while remaining grateful for the support provided by the school.
Ideological Status
Since entering university, I have formally submitted an application to join the Communist Party of China. In April 20xx, I completed the school's Party training course and became an active applicant. I hold myself to the standards of a Party member, cultivating a sound outlook on life and morality. I actively study Party principles and policies, staying informed about national developments and maintaining progressive thinking.
In addition to self-improvement, I actively encourage and assist my classmates in their pursuit of progress, helping them strive to join the Communist Party. I also participate in various Party and youth league activities, striving to become a dedicated and glorious member.
Work and Social Practice
In my student roles, I have adhered to the principle of "serving teachers and connecting with students," dedicating myself to assisting my peers and supporting their academic endeavors. While serving in the Youth League General Branch and the Student Union, I have always prioritized the interests of the department and my classmates, acting with integrity and participating actively in all college activities.
In September 20xx, I participated in a Chinese volunteer program.
During this time, I took part in book donation activities for impoverished areas.
