I never consider failure; words like "give up," "impossible," "can't do it," "no way," "problematic," "won't work," "hopeless," and "retreat" have been erased from my dictionary. I strive to avoid despair, and when threatened by it, I immediately find ways to challenge it. I work hard, enduring hardship. I look to the future, moving forward bravely, ignoring the obstacles beneath my feet.
As long as you do not abandon life, life will not abandon you. If you struggle persistently for your life, you will be rewarded by life itself.
When we pursue our plans and ideals, if we can persevere and keep going, we may have fewer regrets in our old age or even when we leave this world. Perseverance is, in itself, a realm of attainment.
Human life is much the same. From "Last night the west wind stripped the green trees; I climbed a high tower alone, gazing until the end of the world," to "My sash grows loose, but I regret not, having wasted away for her," and finally to "I searched for her a thousand times in the crowd, then suddenly looked back, and found her standing in the dim light of the lanterns"—every step requires persistence. We must persist in understanding the confusions of life and grasping its true essence. Only then, when looking back in twilight years, will we feel we have not wasted our beautiful youth, and that our entire life has been filled with value.
Life is inherently a miracle. As long as you persist, creating miracles is actually not difficult. Water persists, so rivers flow meandering without cease; Rain persists, falling from the heavens to merge into the vastness; Mountains persist, standing as solemn witnesses to time; People persist, and thus achieve a life that is genuine and without regret.
