There are three types of people who are never satisfied: the wealthy, who always dream of earning more; the sick, who always hope for some kind of change; and the travelers, who always say, "Anywhere else is fine, as long as it is not here."
1. When facing a bowl of mixed good and rotten fruit, how do you eat? Some start with the rotten ones and end up with a whole bowl of rot; others start with the good ones and at least enjoy half a bowl of goodness. In life, one must sometimes know when to let go and how to choose.
2. It is said that every encounter is a long-awaited reunion. What makes us mature is experience, not years. Trust is like a piece of paper; once crumpled, it can never be fully smoothed out again. Time may not prove everything, but it certainly reveals everything. One only understands the length of life's journey after traveling it; without storms, one cannot see the rainbow, and without winter, one cannot appreciate the splendor of spring. As flowers do not bloom forever and people do not stay perfect, learn to find clarity in life's ups and downs, much like finding a bright spring after a dead end.
3. Hope is power and the driving force that leads us to success. Even if one has nothing, as long as there is hope in the heart, they may possess everything; conversely, those without hope will struggle to find happiness even with all the world at their feet. Young friends, never give up hope and face life proactively. Even if you lose much now, as long as hope remains, you will surely gain more in the future.
4. When you grasp something tightly, you can only possess that one thing; if you are willing to let go, you gain the opportunity to choose something else.
5. If you do not play in childhood, study well in youth, strive in adolescence, and entrepreneur in midlife, your life will simply wither away with age. Life is brilliant through movement, fulfilled through joy, profound through thought, and lasting through sincerity in friendship.
6. A heart of benevolence is lighter than wealth; a heart of righteousness and courage is lighter than disaster. With both benevolence and courage, one becomes fearless. To be great is to be inclusive: encompassing people, things, matters, heaven, and earth. When one becomes all-encompassing, they are embraced by all things.
7. The ultimate factor determining success in a career is ability. Those who master special abilities will be highly valued by society; those with exceptional abilities can rise again swiftly even after failure.
8. Time is like stone, and wisdom is like a blade. The sharpness of wisdom is honed only through the passage of time. We are all the blacksmiths of our own lives, sharpening ourselves in the river of time. The handle is in our hands: through diligence and focus, we shine and elevate our souls; through negligence and laziness, we become dull and waste our lives.
9. Being busy is not important; what you are busy with is what matters.
10. Proceed with caution, as if not a single step can be misplaced. Yet sometimes, even the most strict among us might suddenly forget and look back to seek the traces of lotus flowers and the mountain moonlight from years past.
11. We often believe ourselves to be noble, just, or kind, but frequently we place our self-esteem above the burdens of others, creating many unnecessary troubles.
12. Where there is a cause, there is a gathering; where the cause ends, there is a dispersal. Deep or shallow, these various connections and people weave beauty, emotion, and nostalgia into the colorful tapestry of your life.
13. Much of a girl's emotional connection lingers in a space deeper than friendship but lighter than love. This sentiment is enough to keep the tree of life lush and green, shining beautifully through sun, rain, frost, or snow.
14. One needs to be gentle; do not succumb to excessive anger, for anger often brings catastrophe to those who are easily provoked.
15. Every individual is granted a unique opportunity to exist. Fame, wealth, and knowledge are external; no one can experience life on your behalf. Life has no ownership, only the right of use. "The flowers are not yet in full bloom, and the moon is not yet full"—this is the most beautiful state of existence, for the incompleteness keeps the heart filled with anticipation and longing.
16. Become famous early, and become independent early. Everyone should possess the ability to think and solve problems independently to navigate life's contradictions and complex relationships.
17. To know much is to be enlightened; to err much is to be confused; to lose much is to feel pain; to endure much is to find peace.
18. If you never set out, you will never arrive. Reflection: Do not stop loving beauty, traveling, or learning just because you are getting older. In life, it is never too late to start.
