26. People are categorized in many ways, just as meat has layers. Without the variety of life, how could there be such a colorful world? When I hold you, you are a glass cup; when I let go, you are just shards of glass.

To have affected others through that mistake makes it difficult to face; thus, some choose avoidance and try to cover up obvious flaws. Seeking truth is sincerity, but Admitting a mistake and continuing the search is courage. Without courage, sincerity eventually turns into self-deception.
28. Master the art of living: cook more at home, vary your recipes, praise the chef, and be eager to wash the dishes. Reduce unplanned dining out; wandering into random restaurants often results in poor meals and frustration. It is better to spend that dining budget on small kitchen appliances.

What people fear most is betrayal after trust, indifference after initiative, heartbreak after giving, and estrangement after intimacy; boredom after familiarity, perfunctoriness after deep affection, separation after understanding, and loss after cherishing. The words you spoke with all your heart today may become the arrows that wound you tomorrow.

34. Endurance is the abbreviation of perseverance and capability; knowledge is the summary of hard study and diligent questioning.
