16. Life is full of hurdles to cross and responsibilities to bear; constant setbacks are what cultivate resilience and harvest wisdom. To be a strong soul is to walk and sing through it all. On the shared paths of many, bumps are inevitable. The highest state of life is to endure pain in silence and smile without words. No matter the grievances, let them be resolved with a smile.
17. Orchids bloom in deep valleys without needing praise, which is a form of detachment; plum blossoms scent the air even in isolation, which is a form of elegance; water flows around rocks without conflict, which is a form of humility. In this life, there is no need to strive for or snatch everything; be broad-minded, seek less, find more satisfaction, and you will live more freely and at ease.
18. The glory of life lies not in never failing, but in rising every time we fall. Success is simply standing up one more time than you fall.

22. What you seek in your eyes is what your heart will dwell upon.
23. The landscapes flourish and wither; flowers bloom flawlessly, yet life is but a dream of parting. Love is three parts heaven and seven parts tears; holding hands at the edge of the world, etched in the soul for three lifetimes. To speak of the world is to see its paths, where one may lose their way in the wind and clouds. In the cold light of the lamp, life passes in a flash of life and death, leaving only the solitary figure of remembrance as the years drift and memories fade into the dust of the past.
24. When you come home late after drinking and find someone scolding you behind the door, know that they are the ones who care for you most.
25. When trouble arrives, do not reject it or dwell on the thought of "trouble." Take action and meet it with patience. Once you start, the trouble will naturally vanish. Everyone encounters various troubles in life; if you merely avoid, complain, or flee, you will eventually be overwhelmed by them. Because the troubles you once dodged will eventually find their way back to you!
26. Life is nothing more than a checklist of what you want and what you do not. Those who calculate everything too precisely may be incredibly clever, but they often invite endless worry and hardship.
27. Bodhidharma once said: "Do not plan for the future, do not worry about the past, and do not dwell on the present."
28. Those who live lives without storms or struggles, achieving nothing, are like feet walking on hard, dry ground, leaving no lasting footprints behind.
29. People loathe fake medicine, yet many love to hear fake words.
30. Karma has never wronged us, so there is no reason to complain.
31. I know clearly that behind every reunion lies a hidden sign of parting. I am uncertain which shore the waving hand at the ferry will land upon. Ultimately, I am merely the one holding an umbrella for the farewell, watching as time becomes the youth of others, leaving me to reminisce alone through the drifting years until memories grow old and the past fades into dust.
