Hitchcock, the famous director known as the "Master of Suspense," once lost his way in the Scottish Highlands. After walking for a long time through the pitch-black night, he finally spotted a flickering light. Looking closely, he realized it was a house and rushed towards it with excitement.
"My house is not a hotel!" the owner replied with a stern face after hearing Hitchcock's request to stay for the night.
"I only need to ask you three questions to prove that this house is indeed a hotel!" Hitchcock said with a smile.
"I don't believe you. If you can convince me, I will let you in," the owner replied readily.
"Who lived here before you?"
"My father!"
"And before your father, who was the master of this house?"
"My grandfather!"
"If you were to pass away, who would this house belong to?"
"My son!"
"There you have it!" the guest laughed. "You are merely staying here temporarily; like me, you are just a traveler."
That night, he enjoyed a very comfortable sleep in the house.
Reflection: In truth, none of us know what tomorrow holds. Including life itself, nothing in this world belongs to us forever.
