A fox spotted a deer and exclaimed, "There is so much meat on that deer!"
Meanwhile, a lion, who had been hungry for quite some time, was prowling from a distance.
The fox thought to itself, "If I tell the lion where the deer is, it will have the deer for breakfast and leave the leftovers for me."
So, it approached the lion, bowed respectfully, and said, "If Your Majesty could walk this way, your humble servant can point out something that will surely please you."
"Very well!" the lion said, following closely behind the fox.
However, the deer had already sensed their plot and fled to a safe place to watch them.
Failing to find the deer, the lion growled at the fox, "Liar! You have deceived me! I am starving, and since there is no deer, you shall be my meal instead—though you are a bit smaller than a deer, you are still a delicacy."
With that, the lion pounced on the fox.
The deer remarked, "Unethical people often fall into their own traps."
