All suffering in life stems from within. When a person can find contentment, maintain a peaceful mind, seek nothing, and remain at ease, happiness naturally follows. When one can eat well, play freely, sleep soundly, and live without worries, fulfillment is found within.
1. A perfect life does not exist, but as long as we are alive, life itself is beautiful. Therefore, we should cherish life and our existence.
2. Mr. Liaofan of Xinzhaifang once met his mentor on a train during his youth. Using the "Iron Plate Divine Calculation," the master predicted his fate: a tragic car accident around the age of twenty-eight would leave him paralyzed. Initially, he was despondent, feeling his fate was inferior to others. His master compassionately guided him, explaining that while the fundamental baseline of our lives may be predestined, we can change the direction of our destiny. By eliminating evil deeds and accumulating merit through kindness, one can reshape their fate.
3. Not everything in life goes smoothly; those who follow the flow find contentment. "Following the flow" is a form of grace and progress—it is the conduct of the wise, not an excuse for the foolish. It is not mere following, but rather letting nature take its course without resentment, impulsiveness, excess, or coercion. It is not being careless, but rather seizing opportunities without being pessimistic, rigid, or losing oneself. It is a sign of maturity and a realization that allows one to face life with an open mind rather than simply resigning to fate.
4. If no one else is rushing, why should I? If everyone is rushing, can I afford not to? This is the distinction between mindset and pressure. Never be intimidated by dark clouds; as long as we believe in ourselves and dare to accept challenges, our hearts will be tempered, and the path ahead will not remain dark forever.
5. I was surprised when I visited that space! Why were there ambiguous messages? Can someone explain this to me?
6. Speaking eloquently is not an impossible feat. With consistent accumulation and regular practice, anyone can develop excellent eloquence. With the right methods, anyone can master the art of expression.
7. The world is in constant motion; nothing remains unchanged. However, we often rely too heavily on experience, treating it as the ultimate solution to all problems. Experience only signifies that certain actions were correct in past circumstances, which may not hold true in the future. As time and locations change, we must learn to adapt; otherwise, clinging to old ways will hinder success or even lead to failure.
8. If a superior lacks the breadth of mind and vision to value talent, even if they succeed, they will likely be seen as a mere "nouveau riche," and such success will be short-lived. Identifying talent requires the discerning eye of a "Bo Le." This demands not only rich experience and wisdom but also the ability to perceive subtle signs and, most importantly, the absence of prejudice.
9. Each of us possesses immense untapped potential waiting to be discovered.
