As a child, I often wondered what I would become when I grew up. One day, by chance, I heard Lang Lang playing a piano piece. The rhythmic notes deeply fascinated me, and I thought that it would be wonderful if I could one day play such moving music myself.
Later, I finally got a piano. From that moment on, the dark piano became connected to my life. At first, I studied with confidence, but it did not last long. Gradually, I grew tired of it and even disliked the dull notes produced by my fingers. They became boring and lifeless, very different from the inspiring music I had once heard. Those melodies seemed to flow through the fingers, laughing and telling stories, while I was only practicing repetitive scales.
One day, my teacher assigned me a Chinese classical piece—“The Moon Reflected on Second Spring.” The trembling tones and flowing melody captivated me completely. I felt as if I were inside the scene, watching the sun slowly set, the sky glowing red, and the clouds playfully chasing each other until the curtain of night gradually fell.
At that moment, I finally understood the true charm of music. Dreams may lead to countless failures, but I believe that as long as you rise again after falling, success will eventually come to you.
