Our illusion is often that we are indispensable, which leads us to become self-important, but this is merely wishful thinking. In reality, the world does not stop turning because of anyone’s absence, and everyone is striving for their own survival. Loneliness and celebration, like flowers blooming and grass growing, naturally unfold as the opening and closing of life’s stages. Whether in work or relationships, persistence is necessary, but stubbornness is not. What you give may not be what others want, and what you strive for may not always turn out as expected.
