By doing so, handling matters becomes easier, with fewer burdens and more freedom.
Sometimes I feel lost when facing the complexities of life and human relationships, unsure of how to respond. As the elder Bing Xin said: "If you are simple, then the world becomes simple." Rather than complaining or calculating, it is better to keep the heart simple. Simplicity allows calmness and clarity. Open-mindedness replaces disputes and worries; self-confidence helps face both success and failure; even when a rushing river hits hidden rocks, it creates beautiful waves; life's path can reveal light at every turn.
Forgiving others is a way of freeing oneself. On the surface, forgiveness is understanding others, but in reality, it liberates oneself. Being calculative causes loss of self and dignity; hatred takes away joy and burdens the mind; resentment weakens strength and invites fragility. Forgiveness brings happiness to others through understanding, earns respect and praise for oneself, and releases all negativity. Forgiveness fills life with joy and contentment.
Negative emotions harm the body greatly; it is important to see through things and let go. Learn to forgive and do not punish yourself for others' mistakes. Letting go of hurt is beneficial for no one. Try to love, and avoid living in a sea of resentment. Life is short, with both joy and sorrow; distancing oneself from negative emotions and engaging in meaningful activities benefits oneself, family, friends, and society. A broad mind, far-sightedness, compassion, and wisdom—this is the way of the Bodhisattva.
