In daily life, I have always maintained a simple and frugal lifestyle, strictly disciplined myself, treated others with tolerance, respected my teachers, and actively communicated with my classmates to maintain harmonious relationships.
University is a very important stage in my life. During this period, I do not compare myself with others in terms of material possessions, but focus on academic achievements and knowledge accumulation. I have made significant progress in all aspects, and my overall quality has greatly improved.
Due to my family's financial difficulties, I actively participated in part-time work during my spare time and holidays. Off campus, I have worked as a flyer distributor, promoter, and tutor. On campus, I worked as a library assistant during my free time and received recognition from both teachers and classmates. These jobs not only helped reduce my family's financial burden, but also taught me many things beyond the classroom. Through communication and interaction with others, I have become more outgoing, and my interpersonal and social skills have improved significantly.
In terms of campus work, I have served as a class sports committee member and also as a library assistant team leader. Although the positions were not high-ranking, I learned a great deal from them. As a sports committee member, I had more opportunities to communicate with classmates, which strengthened our relationships and boosted my confidence. In the library role, seeing students studying in a well-organized environment every day gave me a strong sense of fulfillment and the value of serving others.
In terms of family background, I come from a small village in Shouning County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, where transportation is inconvenient and it takes a long walk to return home. My parents are in poor health and unable to perform heavy labor, so our main income comes from tea picking. There are four people in my family, and both my brother and I are studying, which brings a heavy financial burden. Growing up in such an environment has made me deeply aware of life's hardships and strengthened my desire to change my future through hard work.
Although my family's financial situation is not good, I have never given up working hard and firmly believe that effort leads to reward. In order to successfully complete my studies and better repay my parents and society in the future, I hereby formally apply for the National Inspirational Scholarship. I sincerely request the approval of the university. In the days ahead, I will continue to hold myself to higher standards, constantly motivate and improve myself, and strive for better performance.
