Many people step out of the most ordinary circumstances to create the most brilliant landscapes of life. If I could return to my high school classroom, I would tell myself: never give up your aspiration for the future because of your current situation.
What truly matters is not where you are, but where you are heading. Some paths are rough and difficult, others seem endless at first glance, but as long as you know your direction and keep moving step by step, they will eventually become smoother and easier.
In college, I met many classmates who, disappointed by their college entrance exam results, became self-pitying. They not only felt their university was beneath them, but also looked down on teachers and peers. This attitude did not become motivation for change; instead, it turned into an excuse for indifference and complacency.
Four years later, those classmates who were once less outstanding in high school had already received offers from top companies and even prestigious universities. Only then did they suddenly realize the truth, but it was already too late.
What binds a person is never the barrenness of their environment, but their inner world. Life never dims a gaze that is always looking upward, nor does it disappoint a sincere heart.
In childhood Chinese classes, "sitting in a well and looking at the sky" and "Kua Fu chasing the sun" were often given different judgments. But now I believe that a frog that often looks up at the sky is better than one trapped at the bottom of a well, and Kua Fu, running toward the sun, shines just like the sun itself. Everyone has the right to dream and the possibility to make those dreams come true.
If you are willing to walk toward the light, even the darkest places will be filled with brightness.
