You may have reason to hold onto a missed farewell, but you have no reason to let go of your current sincerity. Never abandon those who accompany you, and never chase those who leave you. One of the secrets to success is not letting temporary setbacks crush us. Life inevitably involves grievances and hurts; rather than dwelling on them in sadness, it is better to face them with composure and grace. Only by enduring the baptism of storms can one cultivate a calm and unshakeable spirit. Living requires grace—not just as a form of cultivation, but as a personal identity. In social interactions, grace is often the most important quality people look for. Refine your life and demonstrate your inner grace to give your existence greater meaning. An old horse in the stable aims for a thousand miles; a martyr in his twilight years maintains his heroic spirit. No matter when or how, I will never allow myself to lose hope.
