Much is predestined by fate, but how you face it is your luck. Instead of asking what others have done for you, ask what you have done for others.
A person without honor is better off dead.
Life allows us to experience, learn, and understand deeply. A clear heart brings clarity, while a turbid heart brings darkness; a deluded heart brings confusion, while an enlightened heart brings Zen. The heart is the director of life's drama, and thoughts are the negatives of our mental landscape. Everything stems from within; obsession, resentment, and hatred only cause unrest. Only by letting them go can we find peace. The boundary between wisdom and folly is a single thought; letting go of troubles brings enlightenment, and a change of mind brings sunshine.
How should we respond to others? With love. Love is the key to opening hearts and the shield against hatred and anger. Love makes setbacks as gentle as spring rain. It is a talisman in life: providing support in loneliness, strength in despair, and calm in ecstasy. This love grows stronger every day, enabling us to face the world with composure.
When you miss someone, miss them deeply, for one day you may no longer feel this way. When you love someone, love them fully and let them know your affection. Perhaps as you grow older and weathered by disappointment, your love will no longer be quite so intense.
Try changing your perspective and looking at problems from a different angle. People often rely on conventional thinking, which can make solvable problems seem insurmountable.
Some wounds heal with time; some grievances are resolved through understanding; some pains become habits through endurance. Some words kept deep in the heart are not hidden out of malice, but because not all pain can be expressed through a cry.
