A wild boar and a horse grazed together. The boar was often mischievous, either trampling the grass or muddying the water. The horse was infuriated and sought revenge, so it went to ask a hunter for help. The hunter agreed, on one condition: the horse must wear a bridle and allow him to ride. Driven by the desire for revenge, the horse accepted the terms. The hunter rode the horse to defeat the boar, but then led the horse back to the manger and tethered it there. Thus, the horse lost its former freedom.
