Escaping doesn't mean avoiding, facing isn't always the hardest, solitude isn't always lonely, gaining isn't always permanent, losing isn't always final, and turning away isn't always weakness. True friends do not boast about friendship; they do not demand things, but rather do everything they can for one another. I may not believe in reincarnation, but I believe in karma. How you treat emotions is how they will return to you. If you mistreat someone who loves you, that very hurt will be returned to you in full.
