Life contains a very beautiful sound: applause. It gives me motivation and encouragement.
In first grade, my writing skills were far from what they are today, and my compositions were not outstanding. Whenever I heard the teacher reading classmates’ essays as model works, I felt envious and hoped that one day my own writing could also be read aloud.
From then on, I quietly worked hard after class. When the teacher finally assigned a composition, I rushed home and began writing immediately. I revised it again and again until I was satisfied, then carefully copied it into my notebook.
After that, I eagerly waited for the teacher to bring our diaries to class to read. Finally, that day came. The teacher walked into the classroom with a stack of notebooks and said happily:
Students, many diaries in this assignment have received little red flowers. Now I will read some of them.
Little red flowers were such precious rewards!
One excellent composition after another earned warm applause from the classmates, and I held my breath in anticipation. Suddenly, familiar words reached my ears, and I was deeply moved, not even realizing it was my own work. Then, thunderous applause filled the room, and the teacher looked at me with encouraging eyes.
At that moment, I was extremely excited and more determined than ever to keep improving my writing. From that applause, I gained strength, and my writing gradually improved as I became more serious about it.
Applause is like a beam of light that encourages me to move forward. It is the most beautiful music in life.
