When a person has no money, they are hesitant to speak, cautious in their interactions, and reluctant to walk with their head held high, fearing ridicule or being looked down upon. Social appearances become fragile, and heartfelt intentions feel dim, often simply due to a lack of money. Poverty brings hardship and suffering, friends may change, and relatives may say one cannot succeed. After considering countless paths, one ends up walking the road named "poverty," experiencing a lifetime of waiting and anticipation, only to realize the overwhelming difficulty and pressure of being poor.
The impoverished should be cautious in visiting relatives and friends; indifference, disappointment, and hurt often accompany them, and sincere feelings can dissolve simply because of lack of money. Scarcity often brings cold words and unpredictable emotional warmth. One cannot love the person they wish to love, nor wait for the one they wish to wait for—only brief hopes and fleeting nights remain. When dawn comes, emotions fade, people depart, and dreams awaken. The hardships and difficulties along the path are known only to oneself.
Life has no rehearsal; everything seems destined by fate. Poverty and wealth are separated by a single word, yet that gap can lead to immense misfortune, even harder than reaching the sky. Reflecting on the past, when lacking money, one observes others’ lives; when having money, it still feels insufficient. Conducting oneself in life requires caution and steadiness. Life is full of change, and the world can be harsh. A single cold remark can take away a fragment of warmth, and all of this originates from the reality of being without money.
