How I wish that one day I would suddenly wake up, only to find I had fallen asleep during a primary school lesson. It would mean everything I am experiencing now is just a dream, with saliva on my desk. You tell your deskmate about the long dream you had, and they call you a fool, telling you to pay attention in class. You look at the playground outside the window; everything feels so familiar, and everything is filled with hope.
No one can escape loneliness. Your thoughts and experiences make you both the director and the sole audience of your own life. Even with a companion through life, loneliness remains unavoidable. Much of what people do to seek emotional solace—ambiguity, infatuation, or self-sacrifice—stems from loneliness. If one can learn to coexist peacefully with loneliness, explore the voice of the soul, and persist in their aspirations, they will find their true self and inner peace.
No matter how bitter life gets, just smile it off, because sunshine always follows the rain. Making wishes under a meteor shower, may the tomorrow of tomorrow's tomorrow still be a friend!
