5. Work Experience
As the class health committee member, I always focus on serving teachers and classmates, dedicating myself to class affairs. I strive for improvement, learn humbly from others, lead by example, correct mistakes promptly, and actively follow suggestions from teachers and classmates while adhering to principles, prioritizing the interests of the majority of students. This approach has earned me respect and support from both teachers and peers.
6. Practical Experience
Due to financial difficulties, I have been working part-time on weekends and holidays both on and off campus since the beginning of school. I helped serve meals and clean utensils in the school cafeteria, distributed flyers off-campus, and worked as a telemarketer and promoter. While such jobs may be looked down upon by some students, they have helped reduce my parents' financial burden and taught me valuable skills not learned in the classroom, enhancing my interpersonal and practical abilities.
7. Life Situation
In daily life, I am frugal, self-disciplined, tolerant, respectful to teachers, and helpful to others. My parents are farmers with no stable income, and my grandparents are elderly and require care, making it difficult for my family to cover my school expenses. At school, I do not compare myself with classmates in terms of material things but focus on learning, achieving significant progress in various areas, and greatly improving my overall quality. Despite being from a low-income family, I am cheerful, helpful, and maintain good communication with classmates, building strong relationships and gaining recognition and support.
8. Conclusion
Studying at Hunan Vocational College of Mechanical and Electrical Technology has been a crucial stage in my life. In the past year and a half, I have made significant progress in all aspects and greatly enhanced my overall quality. I am grateful for the guidance of college leaders, the professional instruction of teachers, and the support from classmates. In the future, I will hold myself to higher standards and continue to improve. To successfully complete my studies and to better repay my parents and society, I respectfully submit my application for the National Encouragement Scholarship for review.
