Reflect quietly on your own faults while sitting alone; do not speak of others' wrongs in casual conversation.
Buddhism speaks of three types of beings whom even the Buddha cannot save: those without karmic connection, those without faith, and those without aspiration. The Buddha is not an all-powerful ruler or creator; otherwise, it would be easier to simply make all beings Buddhas directly. The Buddha cannot change the fixed karma of sentient beings. We must practice properly and take responsibility for our own lives.
People often believe they truly love someone, loving them so deeply that they would do anything for them.
Giving yourself a cliff with no way back is actually giving yourself an opportunity to push upward in life, a ticket to excellence. There is no real lack of talent in the world, only a lack of people who know how to present themselves; the truth behind unmet talent often lies in insufficient ability or effort.
Happiness does not come from having more, but from caring less.
Life is short and fleeting, and everything will eventually be lost. Therefore, while you still can, do what you want to do, bravely love someone, and pursue your dreams.
Master Bodhidharma said: "When there are no delusional thoughts, the one mind is the Buddha realm; when there are delusional thoughts, the one mind becomes hell. Sentient beings create delusions and generate mind upon mind, thus always dwelling in hell; bodhisattvas observe delusions without generating mind upon mind, thus always abiding in the Buddha realm."
