Some compare love to lamps; a single flame may be dim, but thousands of lamps can turn the darkest place into day. Do things that touch others, letting emotion embellish our days and make life fulfilling.
In life, you may not have fame or wealth, nor be a great figure or a high official, but as long as you possess a pure and clean heart, your soul can face the heavens with dignity.
All encounters in this world are long-awaited reunions. It is experience, not time, that matures us. Trust is like a piece of paper; once crumpled, it can never be fully smoothed out. Time may not prove everything, but it certainly reveals everything. Through life's journey, we learn that paths vary in length; without storms, one cannot see rainbows, and without winter, one cannot appreciate the brilliance of spring. Flowers do not stay red forever, and people do not stay good forever. Learn to find clarity in life's ups and downs, much like finding a bright spring after a dead end.
Everyone has a small world. In mine, there is only you; and though I know you hold me in yours, I feel you pushing me away to make room for someone else. Giving up, winning, or retreating no longer matters, for we are all bound by the mundane. In life, cherish every connection and every encounter. Since we have met, let us cherish each other; since there is fate, let us care. Treat every emotion with kindness, every friend with tolerance, the world with understanding, and family with love.
You must experience pain to truly understand its meaning; only then will you know what it is to suffer. Without understanding pain, you cannot cherish the absence of it. The deepest pains are often hidden in the depths of the heart, unspoken and rarely even acknowledged.
Power is temporary. The vitality of power lies in competition and transition; there are no eternal winners in the arena of power. Being an official is a temporary role, but being a person is a lifelong endeavor. Those who cultivate virtue leave a legacy that lasts. Using power to seek benefits for the world creates a lasting value that transcends eras.
People always have moments of longing, wishing for a real embrace in their dreams. We must maintain a beautiful and appreciative heart. What one can and should do is not to seek safety, but to learn to accept an uncertain reality.
When you miss someone, miss them deeply; perhaps one day, you will never miss them quite like this again. When you love someone, love them fully and let them know. Perhaps one day, after being hurt and disappointed, you will no longer love with such intensity.
No one escapes loneliness. In your thoughts and experiences, you are both the director and the sole audience. Throughout life, even with companionship, loneliness remains. Many seek solace through ambiguity, obsession, or self-sacrifice, all born from loneliness. If you can live in peace with loneliness, explore your inner voice, and hold onto your aspirations, you will find your true self and inner peace.
"When the wind blows through the bamboo, it leaves no sound; when the wild goose passes over the cold pond, it leaves no shadow. Thus, a gentleman is present when things come, and empty when things depart." When the wind comes, the bamboo meets the wind; when the wind leaves, the bond ends and all returns to emptiness, leaving the bamboo grove in silence. All things, whether bitter or sweet, are inherently empty. Do your best when things arrive, and maintain a calm heart when they depart. A normal heart is the Way.
