Do not care too much about how others view you, because they are also concerned about how you view them. Everyone understands themselves through others' judgments, and at the same time influences others through their own actions.
No matter how many houses one owns, one can only live in one room at a time; no matter how many beds, one can only sleep in one; no matter how many delicacies, one can only be full once; no matter how many pairs of shoes, one can only wear one pair at a time; no matter how many clothes, one can only wear one outfit; no matter how many cars, one can only drive one. There is nothing wrong with choosing a way of life, but when desire expands without limit and begins to affect health, love, family, and happiness, life becomes a constant struggle filled with anxiety. If desire turns into insatiable greed, it can ultimately destroy a person's life.
Excessive aloofness, if unbalanced, may turn into arrogance and become an obstacle on one’s life path.
Those who treat others sincerely will receive sincerity in return. There is no reward in the world simply for effort itself; rewards are usually given for results achieved.
Human relationships are like rain—once it falls, it dries; friends are like clouds, gathering and dispersing; worries are like wine, moving between intoxication and sobriety; loneliness is like a star, flickering on and off; solitude is like the moon, waxing and waning; death is like a dream, entered after exhaustion. From birth to death, it is as brief as a breath; from confusion to enlightenment, as short as a thought; from love to hatred, as fleeting as impermanence; from ancient times to the present, as casual as conversation; from you to me, as simple as understanding.
Joy and sorrow will eventually become the past. Life is full of ups and downs and busyness; there is no need to cling too tightly. Neither overly happy nor overly sad, neither indifferent nor extreme. In the journey of life, what must never be forgotten is sincerity and conscience. Whether poor or frustrated, one should remain sincere to others; whether wealthy or successful, one should not lose moral integrity. Not every effort leads to a perfect outcome, and not every encounter becomes a lasting scenery.
