Life is like a road. It seems very long, but when you reach the end, you realize it was actually quite short.
Sometimes you think the sky is falling, but in fact, you are simply standing at the wrong angle.
A person who is willing to point out your flaws in private is often your true friend.
When the heart is small, small matters become big; when the heart is broad, great matters become small. In dealing with major or difficult situations, observe one’s sense of responsibility; in adversity or prosperity, observe one’s breadth of mind; in joy or anger, observe one’s cultivation; in gain or loss, observe one’s wisdom; in success or failure, observe one’s persistence. Let everything follow its natural course; remain calm in the face of events; stay indifferent in moments of success; remain composed in times of loss. Life inevitably involves hardship and twists and turns, and only after experiencing them all can one truly understand. Drink a cup of clear tea and remain silent about right and wrong.
To transcend the world while still engaging with it is the balanced attitude one should hold in life and practice.
As long as one lives and acts with a “heaven-and-earth heart” and a “people-centered heart,” one can perceive the true meaning of life and its value.
Many friends we no longer contact still quietly exist in our phone contacts; many blurred memories remain hidden in the corners of our hearts. It is not that we do not wish to reconnect, but that life has changed and time and space have shifted, leaving no further intersection. Everyone and everything we encounter in life, whether good or bad, becomes part of our growth and wealth.
Do not overly care about the surrounding opinions; those who are too concerned about others often cannot perform at their best state.
On every night when the stars fade, I count my loneliness again and again.
