With a joyful heart, you see the world in full bloom; with a heart full of sorrow, you see only decay and desolation. Carrying goodwill, treating everyone kindly, and smiling through life is the true path.
There is no need to burden a young heart. Outward weariness and seriousness do not make you a philosopher; distancing yourself from friends brings only solitude. Since I am not yet profound, I let myself be lighthearted. Those with a sorrowful face cannot hear the sound of blooming flowers; those who disguise themselves cannot feel the excitement of the frogs' chorus.
In life, some people and events gradually fade from our sight and hearts. We no longer sit by the window quietly reminiscing or wander under the moonlight. Time slowly erases old memories, quietly stripping away past scenes. The heart can bear only so much, too much weight is unbearable; shed tears if you have them, speak of your troubles. Life's suffering accumulates wounds, and the worries of living add pain. Even the largest heart feels constricted when full, and the widest chest feels pain when blocked.
Many things in life do not go as smoothly as imagined. Life is often full of setbacks, and everyone faces challenges, yet sometimes, turning points appear in the hardest times. Everyone has matters they cannot let go of or forget. If something truly matters, learn to release it. There is no need to anguish over unchangeable facts; history will not repeat, and time cannot reverse.
Where there is hope, there is disappointment. Growing up means understanding that life inevitably brings countless small disappointments, towards others and yourself. But do not let these disappointments shatter the hope in your heart. Do not be too harsh on yourself, nor on the one who loves you deeply; like you, they are only human.
Gradually, you realize that life is a matter of fate. What you deliberately pursue may not be obtained, and what you strive for may not be achieved. The brilliance of life and the splendor of human experience often appear unexpectedly. All we can do is our best. To gain is luck, and not to gain is also luck. Because we give our best, we always gain; because we try, we always progress. Gain and loss are a state of mind, life is a matter of fate, and having no regrets is enough.
