Leisure cannot be artificially created; it must be felt with the heart. Leisure is a state of mind, and only in a state of leisure can one truly enjoy life.
Leisure cannot be faked. Loafing has nothing to do with leisure, and idleness is not the same as leisure. If idleness is like a desolate and barren field, then leisure is a scenic and beautiful destination. One can easily learn to loaf or pretend to be idle, but one can never fake leisure.
Every moment of blooming prosperity has weathered turbulent waves; every dazzling brilliance has endured wind and rain; every scene of boundless splendor has known moments of profound sorrow. Only those who have lived through it truly understand the strength behind it all.
Respect others when you are above them, and respect yourself when you are below them.
