Some people have many opportunities to meet, yet always find excuses to avoid it; by the time they wish to meet, the chance is gone. Some matters, once missed, may never return, and even if a chance arises later, the desire to act may have faded. Life is essentially a journey forward; those who take in more scenery along the way or take extra steps through hardships are living a life full of value.
Getting off midway is not because the scenery is insufficiently beautiful, but because the heart is not sincere; turning back halfway is not due to shallow fate, but because the emotions are not deep. Those who can laugh with you may not cry with you, but those who cry with you will surely laugh with you.
Be ordinary but not mediocre, bold but not careless, outspoken but not empty, thoughtful but not confused, diligent but not reckless, modest but not submissive, humble but not vain, brave but not arrogant.
Life is like an endless toil; do not fear or reject hardship. Those who transcend suffering are the true strong ones in life. Every experience is an accumulation; the more one accumulates, the more mature they become; the richer the experiences, the deeper the life.
Approach everything with a grounded attitude, not chasing fantasies or vanity, but with sincerity and effort. With this attitude in learning, truth becomes clear; with this attitude in work, accomplishments are attainable.
As the saying goes: "Rivers and mountains can change, but a person's nature is hard to alter." Habits and faults, once formed, are hard to correct because it is difficult to see one's own shortcomings. The greatest cultivation in life lies in overcoming these habits and faults.
