A century of life is a musical movement that we compose throughout our existence, filled with melodies of highs and lows, and rhythms of varying tempos. Sometimes it flows melodiously, sometimes it is intense and gripping; it is this very turbulence that reveals the vastness and grandeur of life. Even if our lives are as plain as water, we can still compose them into a beautiful "Clair de Lune"—soft, warm, and soothing.
On the journey of life, we should constantly reflect, broaden our horizons, and pursue our goals with a developmental perspective. By doing so, we will realize that growth is what we truly need, and we will feel that every step taken today is paving the way for the future, making the path of our lives increasingly broad.
How high is the "height" of being a person? It is often said that one should "be a person before doing things," implying that cultivating character is the foundation of success. The standard for a "good person" is like dough in one's hands; it changes with the amount of water added. Being a person is ultimately something that can be felt but not easily described; everyone has their own inner scale. Regardless of how that scale is weighted, we ultimately need to be accountable to ourselves and find our own sense of fulfillment.
Opportunities are equal for the diligent, yet some fail to seize them. The key lies in a lack of sensitivity to the opportunities approaching. Often, things that are easily attained are not cherished, leading to regret once they are lost. Let us, my friends, learn to cherish everything around us.
