Your fingertips still retain your warmth, yet my love has long become yesterday's bloom. Such a beautiful you, lost because of me, leaves me to weep alone under the lonely stars. The greatest loneliness in life is not being alone or surrounded by crowds without kin, but resonating with music that is not in harmony.

Intelligent people always see the positive side. Life has two ultimate states: awareness and contentment. Awareness allows clarity, contentment brings peace. Obsessed with fame and fortune, one becomes bound; overly concerned with praise or criticism, one becomes anxious. The more desires, the more constraints; the fewer desires, the greater the freedom.

Everyone is born a tadpole, and grows into a frog in the well. This is not a fault, but a limitation, which must be addressed. To understand the world, one must venture afar.

A joyful heart is like a healing medicine; a broken heart drains the soul.
