Water can reach the ocean because it skillfully avoids obstacles, constantly turning and finding its way through gaps. Many people fail not because they lack ability, but because they refuse to turn back even when they hit a dead end. On life’s journey, difficulties are inevitable; learning to turn or detour is also wisdom. When the mountain does not move, the road can change; When the road does not change, we can change ourselves. When the mind shifts, adversity can become opportunity. Knowing how to turn is itself a form of progress.
Seeing is not the same as understanding; understanding is not the same as making sense of it; making sense is not the same as letting go; and letting go does not necessarily mean being able to take it up again. Life is like being in a fog, where every step is difficult; every hardship is followed by pain, and every pain becomes an obstacle that is hard to overcome. Only when a person truly suffers do they learn to let go; and to start again requires courage and strength.
Along the way, we often listen to others’ stories and admire them, forgetting their fictional elements. Even hearsay is repeated and magnified, sometimes even treated as truth. We mistakenly believe that what we are searching for in life is hidden within these beautiful stories.
There are moments in life when we once firmly believed in and recommended something to others, only to later realize it was wrong. When those mistakes involve others, it becomes even harder to face. Some choose to avoid reality, constantly covering obvious flaws. Seeking truth requires sincerity, but acknowledging mistakes and continuing forward requires courage; sincerity without courage ultimately becomes self-deception.
There are times when we know the road ahead is full of obstacles, yet we still move forward without hesitation. Because everyone wants to take a gamble, to fight for a chance in life.
The future is always in your own hands; the path you choose depends entirely on you.
